These beautiful boys have had a hard time recently, with their beloved owner now unable to continue caring for them. They have found the transition from loving home to busy shelter difficult.

With the help of our volunteers, they both have made great improvements. Beechy now enjoys his fuss and attention, and often calls us over to see him. PB has taken a little longer, and his improvements are slower. But he has gone from a terrified boy cowering from us, to an inquisitive soul who likes to watch from his own safe place until he decides to explore. He still prefers the hands off approach, however with time and patience we know he will rediscover his cuddly side.

They have shown no negative responses to the cats in surrounding pens. PB takes a lot of his social cues from Beechy so another friendly cat would likely be beneficial to him. Beechy has been vital in PB's confidence building, so we will not be separating them.

PB and Beechy haven't been dog tested, but this can be done on request. PB would likely find children too overwhelming.
