fundraising
There are so many ways you can help us raise the vital funds we need to keep caring for cats in need. Every penny makes a difference. Below are some fundraising ideas you might want to consider.
bake some purrfect cakes and treats
You could host an afternoon tea or run a cake sale for friends, family, school friends or work colleagues to help raise funds for the cats and kittens in Shropshire Cat Rescue's care.
For the ultimate challenge, why not have a cake competition and ask people to bake a cake that is decorated to look like a cat - people can make a donation to vote for their favourite before raffling them all off. You don’t have to stick to sweet treats either. You may want to cook some savoury bakes instead.
challenge event - climb a 'meow-tain' maybe?
Why not take on a challenge event for Shropshire Cat Rescue? You could try a sponsored run, walk or silence.
Or you might want to do something even more adventurous such as the three peaks challenge, or climb Mount Snowdon.
quiz night
'-a-mewsment'
Are you a whiz with quizzes? Do you thrive on the thrill of running a raffle for friends and family?
Then why not hold a cat themed quiz evening, or help Shropshire Cats with running a raffle.
Create A 'pawsome' Event
Have a pawsome event, choose a venue and get planning. Hold a Fancy Dress competition, get some music sorted, have a dancing competition.
Have a fun night whilst raising money.
Purr-haps give something up
Asking people to sponsor you to give up chocolate or sweets for a month is a great way to raise funds.
Likewise you could ask people to sponsor you to do something you’ve never done before maybe a run or walk of a certain distance.
