Financial support
Shropshire Cat Rescue
Shropshire Cat Rescue is a small charity, run by volunteers with no government support or funding.
This means we are unable to financially support cat owners in caring for their cats. However, there are a few ways we can assist you.
Neutering
Why Neutering Is Important?
Neutering your cat(s) is the most important thing you can do to help your cat(s) stay happy and healthy.
Not only will it eliminate the possibility of having kittens, putting more of a strain on an already overpopulated cat population, it also reduces your cats chances of certain cancers.
Here at Shropshire Cat Rescue, we are able to offer you money off to get your cat(s) neutered. Whilst we can't cover the full cost, we can offer £80 off a female spay or £60 off a male castrate.
The remaining amount will need to be covered by yourselves. If you would like a voucher, please drop us a message via the link below.
Summer 2026: 50% Vouchers For A Limited Time
23/07/2026: At the time of publishing, we are offering vouchers towards neutering costs up to 50%, for a limited time only.
⚠️ Attention please note: This is a limited time funding initiative, other conditions may apply. Vouchers are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are only available while funds remain available. Once the allocated funding has been exhausted, we will be unable to continue to offer this. We will endeavour to update this offer information as soon as that limit has been reached. Please use the voucher form to apply.
Other Financial Support
Whilst we are unable to provide support for veterinary care, there are larger charities that are in a position to be able to help you.
There is also support with food and basic care within these larger charities.
