Visiting The Retirement Village

If you would like to visit our Retirement Village, you're more than welcome to!

However, to ensure our volunteers are available to show you around we request that you complete the Visiting The Retirement Village Form.

Our volunteers will be in touch to book you in, please look out for an email from info@shropshirecatrescue.org.uk

Please note, the best times to visit are afternoons (after midday) as our volunteers are busy in the morning cleaning up, feeding and medicating our cats. 

​

We respectfully ask for at least a weeks notice for visits as we can not always guarantee a slot when given a shorter time to arrange. ​

Our admin volunteers will reply to your request via email, please keep a look out for an email from info@shropshirecatrescue.org.uk and ensure you check your spam/junk folders.


Reminder - these forms are not to be used if looking to adopt. Please visit the Adopt a Cat page and complete an application form.

As a working rescue centre, the safety and wellbeing of our volunteers, visitors, and cats is our highest priority.


We aim to provide a calm, relaxed environment for both our cats and our guests, and we kindly ask that all visitors behave in a respectful and non-disruptive manner throughout their visit.


Visitors must remain under appropriate supervision at all times where required. Any accompanying adult, carer, or support worker is responsible for ensuring the safety and behaviour of those in their care.


We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or end a visit at any time if we feel that the safety or welfare of our volunteers, visitors, or animals may be at risk.
