Olaf is a beautiful boy looking for his new home.

Sadly he has struggled to settle thus far, but is starting to show us what a lovely boy he really is. He spends much of his time under his castle, not really sure of what he should be doing. But as soon as someone sits in with him, he comes out to show affection and give nuzzles. As you will see from the blurry pics - he is so affectionate he won't stay still!

He seems to need companionship to really feel comfortable with himself. 

​

However, he can get overwhelmed. He displays this with growling and hissing. Luckily, our volunteers are all familiar with this kind of behaviour with sensitive cats and recognise his signs of being unsure. We know to pull back and let him relax, but also know that if someone is unfamiliar with these kind of cats they could push past his boundaries. We know that he is fully capable of lashing out if pushed too far. Due to this, we are looking for an experienced owner for him.

Due to what could be perceived as unpredictability, he cannot be rehomed with children. 

​

He dislikes other cats, and he is not yet in an emotionally comfortable place for us to dog test him. 

​

Olaf does require some dental work which we will be providing before he leaves.
