About the Event
Bring along your favourite book, you can always join in with the theme and bring along your favourite black cat book and/or black cat toy to help celebrate National Black Cat Day. Feel free to dress up.
Book Buddies events are perfect for nervous and less confident readers whilst being great for those who love and are passionate about reading. The cats love being read to and it is beautiful to see children and adults spending time reading to our Retirement Village residents.
Due to popularity we have opened up some extra space where you can read to the shelter cats locations confirmed on arrival. Instead of reading in the retirement village you will be able to read to our free ranger residents. If you book one of these spaces we can not guarantee you will get chance to go into the Retirement Village due to people being in there reading.…
