Come along and read to our resident cats. Perfect for the nervous or shy readers to build confidence. Children’s Day is Saturday 20th April from 12pm to 4pm Adult’s Day is Sunday 21st April from 12pm to 4pm.

About the Event
Bring along your favourite book or you can write your own story to tell the cats.
Book Buddies events are perfect for nervous and less confident readers whilst being great for those who love and are passionate about reading. The cats love being read to and it is beautiful to see children and adults spending time reading to our Retirement Village residents. To enjoy spending an afternoon of reading, crafts (on children's day), and having a cuppa and a cake in the company of cats, book your 30 minute time slot for each person wishing to read to the cats in our Retirement Village and after or before your session you can spend time with the Freeranger residents and enjoy a cuppa and cake.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please confirm a parent or guardian will be attending with children under 16 years old.
