Come along and read to our cats, bring along your favourite black cat toy and feel free to dress up. Black Cat and Pumpkin inspired Crafts and a great way to help you celebrate National Black Cat Day on Friday 27th October.

About the Event
Bring along your favourite book, you can always join in with the theme and bring along your favourite black cat book and/or black cat toy to help celebrate National Black Cat Day. Feel free to dress up.
Book Buddies events are perfect for nervous and less confident readers whilst being great for those who love and are passionate about reading. The cats love being read to and it is beautiful to see children and adults spending time reading to our Retirement Village residents. So book your space and enjoy spending an afternoon of reading, crafts, and having a cuppa and a cake in the company of cats.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please advise at checkout how many adults and children are attending that are not reading to the cats.

Read to Shelter Cats 12-12:30
Reading to Shelter Cats locations confirmed on arrival. Instead of reading in the retirement village you will be able to read to our free ranger residents, we can not guarantee but potentially one location will be in the nursery but this will depend on what cats and kittens we have in on that day. If you book one of these spaces we can not guarantee you will get chance to go into the Retirement Village due to people being in there reading. The other residents will love being read to.
