elwood

Gentleman Elwood is hoping to find a lap of his own, someone who is willing to look past his mature age.

Normally, at 13 years, we would look to putting Elwood in our Retirement Village. However, he is so sweet natured and people orientated, we do not feel that he will cope with village life. Therefore, for his best interests we are hoping to find him his own home.

Elwood was clearly the beloved pet of his previous owner, but sadly after they were unable to look after him anymore due to their own declining health, family took him to be PTS. Luckily for Elwood, his vet could see how much life he had left in him and contacted us instead.

We owe it to his previous owner to find him someone who loves Elwood just as much as they did.

Elwood is not too keen on other cats, so would prefer a cat free home. However, we do think he would adapt to living with 1 kind natured cat.

Older children would be best. He has not been officially dog tested, but this can be done on request. He will have seen our Shelter dog around and has shown no negative responses thus far.
